Built so every learner can get to school.
ScholarWay is a school transport platform connecting families with verified transport providers — inspired by real challenges faced by learners and parents.
About the Founder
ScholarWay was founded by Malcolm Masebe, an educator and entrepreneur from Polokwane who believes that every learner deserves equal access to education.
While working with Photons Extra Classes Polokwane, Malcolm noticed that some learners were facing challenges that had nothing to do with their academic ability — transportation. Many parents struggled to find reliable school transport, while some learners depended on complicated arrangements simply to attend school, extra classes and educational activities consistently.
Seeing these challenges firsthand inspired Malcolm to create ScholarWay — a school transport platform designed to make it easier for parents and learners to discover and connect with school transport providers in their area. Instead of relying only on word-of-mouth or scattered WhatsApp groups, families can access transport information through one convenient platform.
Malcolm's vision is to create a more organized, transparent and accessible school transport ecosystem that supports both families and transport providers.
The Mission
Malcolm founded ScholarWay with a clear mission: to help remove transport barriers that may stand between learners and educational opportunities.
He believes that transportation plays an important role in a learner's success. Reliable transport can improve attendance, reduce stress for parents and ensure that learners have consistent access to schools, extra classes and other educational programmes.
